Welcome to the website of U3A Okeover

U3A Okeover is an independent member of the  ‘Universities of the Third Age.’  It is an organisation that selects and creates interesting courses and stimulating adult education for people of retirement years.

We meet weekly at The Chapel Street Centre, 68 Harewood Road (Corner of Harewood Road & Chapel Street), Papanui (See map) on Thursday mornings from March to November. Our sessions begin with coffee or tea and conversations at 9.45 a.m. Presentations begin at 10:30 and are usually ended by 11.40.

Our current membership costs are:

Annual membership fee: $25.00 each member.
Course fee, for terms 1, 2, 3 and 4: $20.00 for each course of five Thursday sessions.
End of year luncheon: Thursday 28 November from 12 noon at Hornby Club.
