A soldier/diplomat’s insight on the Middle East

Brigadier Neville ReillyOur speaker served 38 years in NZ Army, including commanding NZ's first Reconstruction Team in Aghanistan. He was Defence attache in Saudi Arabia, then Ambassador in Afghanistan in 2010-2011. This has given him an unusually broad perspective on the Middle East.

Judy Dodwell on 'Trials and tribulations of living in the middle east: ' Judy and her husband lived in Bahrain for 20 years while her husband worked as a pilot for Gulf Air. Judy will share with us her observations and experiences of life for families in a country that is very topical in the news in recent times. It will be interesting listening to someone who has had real life experiences in this volatile area.
